Usual remedy is to choose a slower evaporating

Atomizing air pressure too high. |
Use least amount of compressed air necessary. |

Over reduction of material. |
Use less reduction. Add fresh material to that
which has already been over reduced. |

Gun held too far from surface. |
Hold gun at proper distance, usually 6-10 inches,
from work. |

Spraying past surface of the product. |
Release trigger when gun passes target. |

Wrong air cap or fluid tip. |
Ascertain and use correct combination. |

Fluid pressure too low. |
Increase fluid pressure. |
