Humid weather. |
If possible, place in heated and/or dehumidified
drying room. |

Maintain a temperature in drying area of at least
70"F to 75"F. |

Creasy, waxy or otherwise unclean wood surface. |
Clean
surface carefully with volatile solvents.
Dry completely. |

Failure to stir all pigmented finishes into
proper suspension before application. |
Stir the material thoroughly so that the liquids
and pigments will be evenly disbursed. |

If application is over a stained surface, there
may be some dye in the stain used which tends to prohibit drying. |
Use the proper stain. |

Improper ventilation. |
Provide ventilation (air movement). |

An attempt to fill open grain wood by applying a
heavy coat, or applying a heavy coat to flat surfaces such as table
tops, retards through drying. |
Apply only over a normal wet coat, 4 to 5 wet
mils. |
